- Nepal uses its own Bikram Sambat civil calendar alongside lunar tithi. Dashain and Tihar dates are tithi-critical and must be checked yearly. Tithi.live shows Hindu panchang fields for the valley city.
Nepal’s civil calendar is not the Gregorian office calendar. Festival arguments often mix BS dates, tithi, and English dates. This page keeps the panchang limbs (tithi, nakshatra, rahu kaal, sunrise) in one view.
Dashain (Navaratri-related) and Tihar cluster around lunar days. Confirm the current year rather than copying a relative’s message from last year.
