2. Keep speech truthful, calm, and devotional.

Vidhi (how to observe)

1. Wake early, bathe, and set up a clean puja space.
2. Light a lamp and invoke the deity linked to the observance.
3. Offer flowers, fruit, and simple bhog with family prayers.
4. Read the vrat katha and chant the recommended mantra.
5. Conclude with aarti and break fast only in the prescribed window.
6. Offer cooled prasad prepared a day earlier as per regional custom.
7. Visit Sheetala Mata temple if available in your area.
